Ride-sharing provider Lyft has partnered with local startups to launch Lyft Pitch, a challenge for its drivers who are also would-be entrepreneurs. Drivers in D.C., Maryland and Virginia can submit applications through October 21. Eight finalists will be selected to participate in a business bootcamp to prepare their final pitch. PitchBook has released a report detailing the most valuable venture-backed organizations in the country, state by state. Valued at $578 million, Fulton-based IronNet Cybersecurity tops the list for Maryland. In D.C., publisher Vox Media comes in at No. 1 with a worth of $1.1 billion. Femly Wins Betamore’s Beta City Competition
