Designing a strong corporate culture is a very intentional endeavor for iPipeline CEO Tim Wallace. In fact, the company made corporate culture a key topic at its 2018 Smart Goal planning session, resulting in a new approach. iPipeline laid out its culture goals for employees, and then asked them to create their own. Throughout the next year, employees will check in with their managers to track progress and create actionable tasks. “We have worked relentlessly to create a culture and environment where our employees are highly respected, empowered, able to experience growth and achievement, and, most importantly, be happy,” says CEO Tim Wallace. Though it may seem difficult to bring flexible schedules into a technology company, iPipeline has done just that, and to keep the passion running high, the company holds innovation days and creates friendly competition among employees through its Barby Award and Strickman Awards.
