“Our 2017 Corporate Culture Award winners understand that work-life balance is more than just a fad. It is the key to a creating a positive, productive organization where innovative ideas are realized,” said James McDonald, president of SmartCEO. “This year’s winners have gone above and beyond to ensure they attract and retain the area’s top talent, which helps keep them on the cutting edge. We’re proud to celebrate with the leaders of Philadelphia’s top company cultures and recognize them for building truly performance-driven cultures.”

The event kicked off with a high-energy cocktail reception followed by an engaging, video-packed awards ceremony. An impressive audience of friends, colleagues and family came together to celebrate the companies’ achievements.

Gone are the days when going to work meant shuffling to a tiny cubicle and staring at your computer screen in isolation for the rest of the day. Today, smart leaders understand that to remain competitive in the hunt for skilled talent and to keep the best talent once they’ve found it, they have to offer more — more teamwork, more engagement, more fun.

The best leaders also know that exceptional performance doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It’s fostered by a culture that encourages creativity, personal growth and even, occasionally, failure. That’s why these leaders work hard to create a culture that will allow their company to win in the marketplace and enable their teams to be the best they can be.
