Following the announcement that Silver Spring-based Discovery Inc. will relocate its global headquarters to New York, the company announced its new address at 230 Park Ave. in the Flatiron district. The 13-story property will be renovated and include an open floor plan, ground-floor studio and production space, a rooftop terrace, full-service wellness center and dedicated lobby. According to a report from the state Labor Department, New York City is just 3,600 jobs away from employing 4.5 million workers. The city has added 810,000 jobs since October 2009, an increase of 22 percent. Read more at Crain’s New York.
